  1. Thanks for bravely sharing something so personal with us Jennifer. I know you are a stronger and better person because of all you’ve experienced. I’m still trying to find my way, too, and I think as long as we’re still capable of that search, even for those daily moments of joy, we’re doing okay. Thank you, again, for the perspective.

  2. Jennifer so sorry for your loss on so many levels ~ I lost a 19 yr old brother in a car accident when I was 8 …such tragedy for the whole family. Thank you for sharing~

  3. Sorry it has taken me a few days to comment! I wanted to wait until I had peace and quiet to sit down and read your entry. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. I truly believe not one moment should ever be taken for granted. Please accept my sympathy for your loss. It doesn’t matter how much time goes by, I know something so tragic can never fully heal. Hope you are well.

  4. thank you for sharing your experiences with us and the reminder to appreciate every minute we have to live. losing your mom in that way, at such a young age, is incredibly traumatic. but, you’ve kept going and have learned many valuable lessons from it. many people would not have been as strong as you. don’t doubt that for a minute.
